The Center for Engagement, Service, and the Public Good prepares college students to meet the evolving needs of a global society by offering opportunities for them to engage in volunteer work and paid community service. Partnering with over 100 organizations in greater Los Angeles communities, students can contribute to areas such as education, climate action, food insecurity, and support formerly incarcerated individuals.

Paid Community Service
Paid community service opportunities are often long-term commitments that offer hands-on experience, training, and monetary compensation.
Service-learning
Service learning links faculty, students and community partners in hands-on learning experiences and for-credit classes.
Volunteer
Volunteer opportunities are typically short-term commitments where students support a community organization, cause, or event.

Eagle Connect is Cal State LA’s community engagement platform where you can find meaningful opportunities with our non-profit partners.
Hygiene Kit & Food Drive
We are collecting hygiene products and non-perishable foods until April 30. Donate hygiene items and canned goods to support of the Pilipino American community.
